October & November 2011

So, our last post was September 18th.... where did the last two months GO??!!  Again, taking lots of pics and video, but have been challenged in getting them posted.  Just busy days with the girls, and a home computer that has known faster speed days.
September 24th, Kate and Tom
September 28th. Helping Dad make whipped cream!
 September 30th
October 3rd. Our cute little monkey.

October 5th.  Helping her Dad get packed for his trip to Vietnam.
Tummy time!  October 21st

 Love to cook!  October 22nd.

"Go, Train, Go!" has been a favorite book from the library.
Kate, such a happy baby!  October 25th

 The shirt says it all!

 Sweet Emma Lou
Grace learning to shave with her Daddy, October 30th

Reading books at night.  "Rrralph!" has been another favorite.
Thank you Aunt Jody for the peppermint scarves for me and my sister!
Pooh likes them, too!
Thank you Grandma Terry and Grandpa Jim for the Halloween barrettes!
Halloween 2011.  We went to a party at Calvary Chapel in Eagle and then cam back to trick-or-treat with the girls around our neighborhood.  Grace liked her ladybug costume!  Kate went as "Katie-Cat."

We started gymnastics a few weeks ago.  Grace is in a class with other 2 year olds.  Her favorites are the trampoline and hanging on the swinging bar or rings.  November 1st
Making a train behind Ms. Brenda, their teacher.
So strong!  Grandpa Tom is in the background looking on, he's been so helpful to us, coming every week to watch and watching Kate so we have that time together.  Thanks Tom!
Kate is starting to sit in the Bumbo for short stints, but is still a little slumpy!

She has been such a doll, and loves to watch her sister.
Ella came over to play and they had alot of fun.
They love to chase each other - lots of giggling ensues!
When she got here, Grace yelled over and over "My fwen Eh-wa!"
November 4th

She has gotten so independent in such a short amount of time, and so much more confident.  She started out this day only riding the slides at a birthday party with her Daddy, but in no time was doing it all on her own.
We try to catch story time with Ms. Tammy at the library every week.
November 7th
They had "baseball" at gymnastics last week.
She had a real coach to help her out!  :)
November 8th

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...
November 10th

On Thursdays and Fridays a local church hosts an indoor park time.
This is a big relief when the weather is cold!  We already bought our punch card!
This red car is a big favorite, but she doesn't usually go anywhere - just likes to sit in it.
 The bouncy horse was fun!
 Kate, 4 months old.
Getting so strong!  And such kissable little cheeks, we just love her to bits.

It's been a busy few months as we've settled into a new routine, but we finally seem to be hitting our stride. We are grateful this week as always for our beautiful, healthy, happy girls, our family and our friends, and wish everyone a great day of thanksgiving!
