First Peek at Baby!

Had our 12-week visit with the doctor last week and got a new sonogram pic to share of our next little "Shim" - right now we are planning on not finding out if baby is a "she" or a "him"!  So this is a profile shot, can kind of see the left hand in the background and a leg, too.  :)  We are expecting to meet our new little one around July 27th.

Chris called me in to her room the other night to see how she was sleeping.  :)

Such a big girl! :)

We had her 18 month checkup last week - 22.4 lbs (30th percentile) and 30.5 inches (25th percentile).  She is doing great and healthy as can be!  So, she just squeaked by on getting to graduate to her new car seat, which faces forward (she's been in her rear-facing infant car seat til now!!).  We had to let her test it out once it was installed this weekend and went for a drive...

Have thumb, will travel...

Her hair has really grown lately - BUT, it seems to be limited to the top and back.  Yes, the top is long, and so is the back, but it is really short all around the sides.  So she has kind of a little 80's mullet thing going.  Chris decided to get creative with it...

We got to see Matt, Sarah, Anna and Mila again when they swung through Boise on their way back to Portland after New Years, and the girls had more fun playing together.

She got a really cute Cinderella storybook pillow from Grandma Terry & Grandpa Jim for Christmas, and she loves to lay on it if she is watching her videos or just resting.  But make no mistake - this is HER pillow, and she gets really annoyed when her Dad tries to "borrow" it from her to lay his head on to watch TV.  She comes over, pulls it out from under him, carts it back to her toy box, then goes back to whatever she was playing with before!  She isn't even using it, but she sure doesn't want anyone else to!!

Funny girl.... maybe she thinks SHE'S hiking the ball!!?  She's definitely watched alot of football lately!
