On the Move

Well, hello there!
She's getting so fast at army-crawling, and starting to explore more of the house.

Hodge-Podge

Just some random pics from the last week or so to share...These two are going to be good friends we think - Grace loves to snuggle on her and Emma is liking finishing whatever new pureed foods Grace doesn't.
Except squash.
Nobody liked squash. What a sullen look! She's usually so happy to get bundled up and take her dog for an afternoon walk; this day it came a little too close on the heels of her nap, though. Army crawling is getting faster, and now she's starting to get up on her knees for a few seconds at a time. Not mobile yet that way, but she's getting the idea.
Every week a new trick. Lately it's been funny fish-lips, especially at dinner. :)
Our beautiful baby girl.
This picture makes me melt.

Spring Cleanup

We had a few days of warmer weather this past week. It was so nice to get outside! We did a some yardwork, looked at the flowers (tried to eat the flowers), and soaked up a little sunshine.
The 2010 draft may be 7 weeks away, but it's never too early to start thinking about next season, according to the littlest (and cutest) Steeler fan.

Look what I can do!

She's figured out how to pull dresser drawers open, and the handles are lots of fun (makes Mom nervous that she'll pinch her fingers, though). Guess that just means it is time to start baby-proofing the house.

Eight months old today!

She's on the move! Grace started making some crawling movements this past week, and now she can make it about 4 feet across the floor. It is so adorable to watch and we are really excited for her. We know this will quickly change things for us, but we can't help being fascinated by each new step (or army crawl) in her development.

From these videos it became apparent to us that Emma, or at least her tail, should probably get the credit here. Good girl, Emma!
